Bring Me The Horizon Pour on the 'Alligator Blood'

Need a big dose of monsters & metal to cure your Halloween hangover? Chart-topping UK quintet Bring Me the Horizon might have just the thing. The band first caught our attention through their bizarre & bloody vampire video for "It Never Ends," a track from their acclaimed new album There is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It... There is a Heaven, Let's Keep it a Secret. But apparently they were just warming up with that one, because this week they've plunged into a full-on gothic nightmare with the premiere of a video for "Alligator Blood," the final single to be released from that record. Viddy the clip on the flip!

Featuring the band trapped in a dark and hypnotic world of vampire women, tarantulas, Hellraiser-type puzzle boxes and a real ten-foot-long alligator, the clip is based partially on the creepy album imagery for There Is a Hell... (cover art shown above), which was designed to tell a story in itself. According to an article in Promonews.TV, director Stuart Birchall described the video as "a collective nightmare projected inside the mind of lead singer Oli [Sykes], demonstrating themes of the pursuit of excess and vice and the reality that we all face our fears eventually."

The band is currently touring Europe, after a well-received run of shows in the US including the AP and Warped tours. Early next year they plan to begin work on their next full-length album. In the meantime, keep your Halloween spirits high with this lovely little nightmare...
