Dead Before Dawn 3D will be migrating to the U.S. thanks to a recent deal with Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment.
The film stars Devon Bostick and Martha MacIsaac as typical college kids who accidentally unleash a curse, via a cursed urn, that causes people to kill themselves and turn into zombie demons (aka Zemons). Things get out of control pretty quickly and the group is left to fight an army of undead cheerleaders and townsfolk. This silly Zomcom is reminiscent of many an ‘80s horror flick, and the presence of Christopher Lloyd in his laboratory sends you back to the future.
The film is directed by April Mullen who, according to Variety, was the “first female director to shoot a feature in stereoscopic 3D.” She also produced the film. No word yet on when it will be available in the U.S. Check out the trailer in the meantime.
