Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is the gift that keeps on giving. The film's enthralled generations, inspired countless filmmakers, helped spawn entire genres... and now there's still more of Psycho to see! Apparently an extended unrated cut of the film has aired on German television, in which certain deleted scenes -- that were just a little too much for U.S. censors in 1960 -- were put back in. Unfortunately this version has been unavailable on DVD and Blu-ray. But you can watch these scenes online, right after the jump.
In the following three extended scenes from Psycho, we see 1.) More of Marion Crane undressing as Norman Bates spies on her through a peephole. 2.) More of Norman's bloody hands after Crane is murdered. And 3.) two additional knife stabs when the detective Arbogast is murdered. The extensions total less than twenty seconds, but for us Psycho fans they present a somewhat fresh and undeniably fascinating look at a film we thought we knew inside and out.
