The latest poster for director Timur Bekmambetov's adaptation of author Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter focuses on the young Lincoln, as portrayed by actor Benjamin Walker. But he's shown standing on the fiery train which features in the film's climactic set piece -- which I believe centers on the older Lincoln. Or maybe I just need to re-read the novel. In any case, check out the full poster art after the jump.
The above U.K. poster comes to us from Empire. Here's the synopsis for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which is due out on June 22nd here in the States: "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest president, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the bloodthirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history's greatest hunter of the undead."
"The film stars Benjamin Walker as the titular hero; Dominic Cooper as Henry Sturges, Lincoln's mentor in vampire hunting; Anthony Mackie as William Johnson, Lincoln's valet and friend; and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln, Abe's wife. The screenplay is by Seth Grahame-Smith and Simon Kinberg, based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. The producers are Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, and Jim Lemley. Timur Bekmambetov is the director."
