Chloe Sevigny Addicted to Love in 'American Horror Story' Season 2

Actress Chloe Sevigny -- Zooey Deschanel's only serious competition for the title of America's Quirkiest Hipster Sex Symbol -- has just signed on for the second season of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, joining an already eclectic cast. Sevigny will play a role she's performed many times in my dreams, that of a nymphomaniac. More after the jump.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chloe Sevigny will join American Horror Story to play "Shelly the Nymphomaniac, a foil for [Jessica] Lange's character in the drama from Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. American Horror Story's second season will feature a new premise, location and while it will there will be some returning cast members, they'll all play characters completely different from their Season 1 roles. Murphy revealed earlier this month that Season 2 would take place at an East Coast institution for the criminally insane that would be run by Lange's character, potentially set in a different era as well. 'It's a completely different world and has nothing to do with Season 1; there's not a mention of Season 1,' he said recently. 'The second season is set in a completely different time period.'"

"In addition to Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters,Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe will return, with new cast members including The Voice's Adam Levine and French actress Lizzie Brochere joining the series for Season 2."
