Good news for those of you who've been anxious to see the hit British web series Girl Number 9 -- we're bringing it to FEARnet! Yup, all six episodes of the thriller, concerning a cop (played by Torchwood's Gareth David-Lloyd) who matches wits with a serial killer in an attempt to save the life of his daughter, will be featured right here on FEARnet.com, starting next week. FEARnet, the world's premier destination for horror, thriller and suspense, announced today the successful British web series Girl Number 9 will premiere next week on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 on FEARnet.com. FEARnet will air the first two episodes on Tuesday, June 14th, and then release one episode per day on Wednesday and Thursday, with the two concluding suspense-filled episodes airing Friday, June 17th. After the initial airing on FEARnet.com, Girl Number 9 will be available at a later date on the FEARnet On-Demand network and FEARnet's emerging cable channel.
Girl Number 9, a six-part thriller created by Dan Turner and James Moran (Torchwood, Doctor Who, Severance), tells the terrifying story of a serial killer who pushes a cop to the brink by kidnapping his daughter to find out just how far he will go to save her life. The series stars Joe Absolom (Doc Martin, Personal Affairs), Gareth David-Lloyd (Torchwood), and Tracy-Ann Oberman (Doctor Who, Eastenders).
In the Se7en meets Saw web series David-Lloyd stars as ‘Matheson,' the cop fighting to save his daughter from a psychotic serial killer's (played by Absolom) games. The thrilling and suspenseful action unfolds over the six episodes, each 5 minutes in length, with a jaw-dropping finale.
