Cradle Of Filth Premiere 'Forgive Me Father'

Cradle Of Filth, the UK's most celebrated satanic metallers, continue to herald the impending release of their new studio album Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa – this time with the debut of the first official single Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned) and a new music video to go with it. The full song is streaming on the band's official site, and you can watch the video right here after the jump, so come in, have a look – dig frontman Dani Filth's new glittery glam-ghoul look, and find out more about the next phase in the band's apocalyptic promotional blitz...

Separate from the advance download of Lilith Immaculate through the album's dedicated mini-site (which we told you about a couple weeks ago), the first “official” single from Cradle's ninth studio album will be available for purchase on October 18th, just two weeks ahead of the album's November 1st North America release through Nuclear Blast... but it's also streaming in its entirety on the Peaceville Records website.

The Darkly, Darkly mini-site is still being constantly updated with clips, contests and free downloads, and now includes a preview of another song, Nun With The Astral Habit (that same track is also available in its entirety as part of the band's recently-released iPhone app), with another song preview coming out each Wednesday until the album drops.

I highly recommend visiting the site to see all the latest ghoulish goodies on display... but first, have a peek at this perverse premiere!
