Details Surface for Drew Daywalt's 'Red Clover'

Director, and our own resident blogger, Drew Daywalt is busy in post-production editing his next film, Red Clover. IMDB refers to the movie as St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun, and while that may not be the film's final title, the website has announced the cast, which includes a few genre favorites. Check out who will be starring after the jump.

According to IMDB, actors William Devan and Billy Zane will star in Red Clover, along with Death Valley's Courtney Halverson and Azure Parsons, and the adorable Kelly Washington, Glenn Warner, and, as the leprechaun, Kevin Mangold. The film shows what hapens when "An evil leprechaun who has been imprisoned within the roots of a majestic old oak tree, is accidentally set loose on St. Patrick's Day. Once free, he takes out his bloody revenge on the descendants of the people who originally imprisoned him."

Our own music reporter Gregory Burkart's band Corvo, which has scored many of Drew Daywalt's shorts, will provide the tunes.

After Dark Films' Red Clover will air later this year on the Syfy Channel and be available on DVD from Lionsgate.
