Dexter has made another new casting announcement: Matt Gerald will be joining the seventh season of the show. The actor was recently seen in Avatar and will be in G.I. Joe: Retaliation (you know, if it ever gets released). Find out about his role after the jump.

According to EW, Gerald will play "a blue-collar violent criminal in a multi-episode arc." Okay, so that is not much info. Dexter has only been in production for about a month, so there hasn't been much word on the shape of this season. I guess we will have to wait until the September 30th premiere.
