One film that's been generating a lot of buzz on the festival circuit in the last few months has been director Jim Mickle's unique new take on 'We Are What We Are,' a remake of the 2010 Spanish cannibalistic thriller from Jorge Michel Grau. And since the entire FEARnet crew were on hand at this year's annual Fantastic Fest where the movie just played, we were able to sit down with Mickle to get the full scoop on how he approached adapting this material for an American audience, as well as what we can expect from his version. As we await official word on the release, check out Scott Weinberg's review of the 'We Are What We Are.' We Are What We Are plays the Mile High Horror Film Fest (10/3-10/6) next and is currently in limited release in NY and L.A.
