The brains behind boutique studio Creations Unearthed may keep their online identity low-key, but their amazing custom hand-crafted pieces, consisting mainly of super-detailed 1:6 scale figures of horror movie icons, deserves much attention from serious collectors, and we've rounded up some groovy examples of the meticulous detail that goes into the work.
Above we have this 12” tall, fully articulated figure of Michael Myers, in fully tailored fabric coveralls and removable Shatner mask (two different hair colors to choose from) and wielding a metal butcher knife. Several Halloween sequel versions of Michael are also available.
Another slasher icon, Jason Voorhees, gets the treatment in two different 12” figures – one from Friday the 13th Part V (spoiler: the face of Jason impostor “Roy” from that sequel is revealed behind the hockey mask), and the other from Jason Takes Manhattan. The coolest touch on the latter is the pink guitar Jason used to dispatch a victim in that film.
Another superb piece is this figure of Twilight Zone creator/host Rod Serling, complete with his trademark cigarette!
Each figure is made to order and varies slightly, since the bodies are hand-made, and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
