Yes, it’s back and spookier than ever – the promoters of legendary gothic-industrial event Dracula’s Ball are already scheming their next outing, and have now secured the headlining acts for the event, which is officially slated for September 5th. German electro-darkwave veterans Project Pitchfork (pictured) will be participating, joined by Philly’s own goth-rockers Carfax Abbey, who are finally returning to the event after two years. More ghoulish goodies below, so click on!
Project Pitchfork are making the Ball one of many high-profile stops on their North American tour to promote the US release of their new CD Dream, Tiresias! and Carfax Abbey are returning to the event for the first time since 2007. Carfax vocalist Gary Billings declared his excitement on the band’s blog, exclaiming that “this will be one hell of a show.” As usual, the event will be held in Philadelphia’s famous Club Shampoo. More guest performers, including the always interesting DJ lineup, are still being decided as of this writing.
