Debuting at TIFF and currently in the running for distribution through the Weinstein Company is Aftershock, an earthquake thriller from director Nicolas Lopez. Eli Roth co-wrote the script with Lopez, and also produced and starred. Set in Chile, Aftershock is about a powerful earthquake rips across the country, leaving American tourists trapped in a disaster area with escaped convicts. Check out this first clip from the action:
