Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of George A. Romero's Day of the Dead, and our friends over at Fright Rags are celebrating a year early with the release of oodles of goodies that are sure to put smiles on the faces of all fans of the film... which is pretty much all of us, is it not?!
First up is their limited edition box set, which you can see above. For $47.95, you get yourself a t-shirt, prismatic sticker, 11"x17" art print and even a cannister that contains rocks from the actual underground mine that Romero shot the majority of the film in. This incredible offering is available to the first 500 people who lay claim to it, and all of the contents will be housed inside of a collector's box, adorned with the same art featured on the shirt, poster and sticker.
As if that wasn't awesome enough, two other t-shirts will be available on their own, as well as a print of one of the designs. Jeff Zornow and "Ghoulish" Gary Pullin are the artists responsible for these two shirts, Pullin's prominently featuring Bub and other characters from the film while Zornow's is all about the gruesome Dr. Tongue. The shirts will sell for $25.95 each, and Pullin's art is also available on a limited screenprint, signed by star Lori Cardille.
All of these shirts and goodies will be available for pre-order at 10am EST on January 17th, and will be selling through 10am EST on the 27th. You'll find them only over on Fright Rags!
