G4's Epictober Film Fest kicks off today with "The Hunt." The fest, co-sponsored by Joe Lynch (Chillerama, FEARnet's upcoming Holliston), features horror-mashups of some favorite video games.

"The Hunt" is directed by Sam Balcomb of Rainfall Films and takes a darker look at the Nintendo classic Duck Hunt. Check it out after the jump.
