Namco Bandai announced Friday that they will be shutting down servers for their demonic MMO Hellgate: London at the end of January, mercifully ending the life of the seemingly cursed game. Hellgate’s life has been a painful one, starting with a buggy release, middling reviews, and other various problems that eventually killed developer Flagship Studios.
However, as an effort of goodwill, Namco Bandai has decided to waive all subscription fees for the remaining months. The single-player component, hopefully, will still function.
