How oddly appropriate with Roman Polanski being back in the news that Monolith and WB Games would give us a sneak peek at their own little girl, and we don’t even have to bring any Quaaludes! That little girl, of course, is none other than Alma Wade, queen bitch of F.E.A.R. and its upcoming sequel F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
The creators, eager to get our appetites whetted for the February 10th release of the aforementioned sequel, have released a single-player demo for all three of F.E.A.R.’s platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Games for Windows. Picking up right where the first game left off, you have to make your way through a devastated school after Alma’s psychic explosion has leveled most of the city. Of course, it wouldn’t be much fun if there weren’t scads of Replica soldiers and ethereal wraiths to battle!
Console users can download the demo from their respective online services (Xbox Live/PSN), whereas PC users can get the demo, as well as more info on the game, from F.E.A.R. 2's official website.
