Goblin: Rare Tracks & Outtakes Collection, 1975-1989

After collaborating with composer Ennio Morricone on his early giallo classics The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Cat o' Nine Tails, and Four Flies on Grey Velvet, Dario Argento turned to a new source to score his next films: Goblin, the influential prog-rock Italian band who would go on to become synonymous with Argento's work of the 1970s. Until their break-up in 1978, Goblin recorded scores for horror classics like Argento's Deep Red and Suspiria and George Romero's Dawn of the Dead. Accordingly, this, the first of three volumes of rare extended and alternate tracks from the height of Goblin's working years, is guaranteed to be a cherished addition to any classic horror music lover's wall of obscure movie soundtracks.
