While most of you reading this probably would have loved receiving a horror movie-themed kids' activity book growing up, the idea of such a book targeted at five-to-eight-year-olds didn't go over so great in the UK when retailer Tesco posted the awesomely-named Colour Me Good Arrggghhhh! in their online catalog.

The book was promoted as containing “more blood than you can shake a dagger at,” and is filled with images from adult-oriented movies like The Shining, Hellraiser, Psycho, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Silence of the Lambs... even A Clockwork Orange is in there.

According to the UK's Metro News, the outrage began when a UK grandfather named Chris Tuckwood found the book while browsing for a birthday gift for his seven-year-old grandson. “It is unbelievable that they can sell such a thing aimed at kids,” Tuckwood complained. “Who on earth are they employing that thinks this is OK?” The answer to that question is third-party retailer Prezzybox, who publicly apologized for placing the book in the wrong sales category.

But now that it's in the right location, hopefully there's still some copies left for us... it looks like perfect rainy-day fun to me. Just be sure to buy extra red crayons.
