NBC just released a pretty neat companion book for their hit TV series, Grimm. The book, Grimm: The Essential Guide is currently only available as an iBook on iPad. The fully interactive guide includes behind-the-scenes photos, character and actor profiles, a season one video recap, a free episode download, and a tour through Aunt Marie's trailer.

The coolest part is the attention given to the Wesen (or creatures) of Grimm. The entire Wesen journal (or at least what we have seen of it) has been recreated, sketches and all. Galleries of the Wesen include bios, backstories, and clips from the show of the creatures transforming. You can also catch a sneak peek of season two (which premieres on August 13th) and meet a brand new Wesen.

The book is available from iTunes now - and for free. A non-enhanced version is in the works for the Kindle Fire and the Nook Tablet.
