Word just came down via Blabbermouth that Rob Zombie has put release plans for his forthcoming album on hold pending the completion of Halloween 2 (also known as H2, for folks who don't like using big words), which starts shooting in March with an August release date looming.
The as-yet-untitled album, which Rob reports is nearly done, has been temporarily shelved so that the horror rocker-turned-filmmaker can devote all his resources to the sequel... not to mention his two other movies slated for this year, Tyrannosaurus Rex and the finally completed Haunted World of El Superbeasto. But if you've been a good little FEARnet reader, you should already know about those.
“We have for the first time ever written more songs than we need for an album,” Rob recently revealed. “Everything isn't 100% finished, but everything is moving along great." No official date has been announced yet, but he hopes to release the album later this summer
