FEARnet friend and Bloody Disgusting/Horror Movie A Day staffer Brian Collins dropped us a line to let us know that Jason Miller's (producer/2nd unit director on Frozen and Hatchet II) new short is nearing completion. Infected stars AJ Bowen (Hatchet II, A Horrible Way To Die), Alexis Peters (Hatchet II) and Brian Collins as The Monster. More details on Infected and a few stills below.

According to Collins, Infected is nearly complete and will be going out to festivals next year.

Dread Central chimes in with a bit more info, 'be on the lookout for special appearances by Adam Green, and David Foy. Will Barratt is handling the director of photography duties, with Andy Garfield handling sound and score, and the deliciously loony Robert Pendergraft and Aunt Dolly's Garage doling out the creature F/X along with some violence', along with a very brief description, 'Shelly can't escape the monster pursuing her, but when she fights back the real horror begins.'
