Horror Gets Golden

Awards season is on the horizon, and some FEARnet favorites are being honored at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards.  Both Dexter and True Blood have been nominated for best TV drama.  Michael C. Hall nabbed a nod for the title role in Dexter, and John Lithgow seems a shoo-in for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the Trinity Killer.  Down in Bon Temps, Anna Paquin got a nod for best actress in a drama series for True Blood.

Genre films are not usually lauded as much as their small-screen counterparts, but a few noms did go out: Coraline for best animated film, and Neill Blomkamp for best screenplay for District 9.

A complete list of all nominees can be found here.
