Today's Leap Day – the one holiday that doesn't have a horror movie devoted to it. To correct that situation, we've asked each and every FEARnet employee to submit a pitch for a FEARnet film they would make that's based on, inspired by, or entitled 'Leap Year'. Our next proposal comes from Peter Block. Check it out below.
The following synopsis was found in a charred copy of the Berlin Film Festival market guide, circa 2002.
For years, the 10 Lords have been biding their time, waiting for the opportunity to seek vengeance on all who have stolen their birthright, by imprisoning them smack-dab in the middle of a holiday themed song that is second only to "It's A Small World" in terms of brainwashing people into thinking good thoughts. But this year will be different. This year milk will mix with the blood of Maids, and dead Swans will float in the royal ponds.
For this is Leap Year.
And only Danny Partridge, armed with the power of the 5 Golden Rings stand in their way.
(Presented, Written, Produced, Edited, Directed, Reviewed and eventually Remade by Uwe Boll, based on a story by Peter Block who was telepathically inspired by, Uwe Boll)
