When Italian alt-metallers Destrage sat down to write their single “My Green Neighbour,” they apparently set out to create a musical guide to understanding the appeal and importance of the walking dead in modern culture, as revealed in truly hilarious lyrics.

With the band's third full-length album Are You Kidding Me? No. nearing release, the band has unveiled a companion video for the excellent tune, in which a trio of zombies decide to sign up for the Warrior Dash 5K obstacle course (a run which would pose a steep challenge even for the recently deceased... trust me on this one).

Since the song's awesome lyrics are a huge part of the fun ("It's politically correct to shoot a zombie in the face... A creative dead end/Why are they still a trend?"), the band's guitarist and songwriter Matteo Di Gioia wisely chose to incorporate the words directly into the action when directing the film, splattering them across the screen and the marathoners as they go through their bloody paces. Sure, you've seen lyric videos before, but this one's got a little something extra going for it.

Are You Kidding Me? No. makes its North American debut on March 4th from Metal Blade Records.
