Hot Damn(ed)! Behemoth Unveils New Video

A few days back, you may recall watching the seemingly low-key teaser for Behemoth's Ov Fire and the Void video on these pages... you know, the one with the seriously hot chick in a skimpy nightie jumping off a high-rise? Well, it turns out that clip was just the tasty frosting on a creepy, triple-layer devil's food cake of death. The uncut video apparently got yanked by YouTube within hours of posting, and now the band's substituted an alternate version (which basically means fuzzy spots over the naughty bits) that's nevertheless still chock full o' Satanic sweetness. You know you wanna watch... so get yer evil self in here!

The decadent weirdness on display in this vid should come as no surprise to fans of the Polish “blackened death metal” trio, since they've been revealing snippets of the content in making-of installments for a while now. But it's still quite an eyeful (did I mention the hot chick already?). The clip was shot by Grupa 13, the Polish production unit who also filmed their trippy video for At the Left Hand Ov God (from 2007's The Apostasy).

Frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski proclaimed his love of the finished product: “We are proud and we are satisfied. This is our life’s work and we are happy to finally get it out to people. Watch and enjoy!” Done and done, my friend.

Ov Fire and the Void is the latest single from Evangelion, the band's forthcoming ninth studio album, which hits North American shores on August 11th via Metal Blade Records.

But enough talk. Unleash hell below!
