This weekend, Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights creative director John Murdy announced that they would have a haunted maze at this year's event to tie in with Insidious. Though the second film releases on September 13th, the maze will take you through scenes from both films.

According to the press release, "the terror begins even before guests enter the maze, as paranormal investigators Tucker and Specs anxiously forewarn them about the evil that lurks within. Visitors soon learn that the pair’s caution should have been heeded, as they traverse through the most frightening scenes from both films. The nightmare journey focuses on the evil spirit that has haunted the Lambert clan for two generations. Maze-goers will travel into the world of the dead to confront the malicious souls hell-bent on bringing suffering to the living." "I think this maze is the closest you can come to experiencing the kind of fear portrayed in our films, without actually living through it yourself,” explains the film's director, James Wan.

"Insidious: Into the Further" joins previously-announced mazes "The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven," "Evil Dead: Book of the Dead," and "Black Sabbath 13 3D," inspired by the music of metallers Black Sabbath. Halloween Horror Nights opens to the public on September 20th and runs through Halloween. Get tickets and all the details at HalloweenHorrorNights.com
