The Binding of Isaac, Florian Himsl and Edmund McMillen's top-down ode to everything from Rogue to The Legend of Zelda baked in a crust of blasphemy and infanticide, has found its (deserved) cult following on the PC with its take-no-prisoners difficulty and deranged presentation. Now it might be coming to a more surprising system: the Nintendo 3DS. More after the break.
The news, as translated by Joystiq from a grammatically mangled post on a message board, reveals that Binding of Isaac co-creator Edmund McMillen may have expansion in the cards for Isaac.
"A publisher I know is currently asking Nintendo if they would be OK with Isaac on the 3DS," McMillen commented in response to a post asking if either Isaac or his half-brother Super Meat Boy would be making an appearance on the handheld. While it may not be an outright verification of a port, I'm still excited at the prospect of the bite-sized Isaac on the go.
