Every sociopath knows that one of the keys to fitting in and being successful in your field is to look good. Ted Bundy was a snappy dresser. So was Patrick Bateman. To promote the fourth season of Dexter, department store Lord & Taylor and Details have teamed up with Showtime for a special "Fashion Kills" promo. A young Michael C. Hall lookalike (yet too baby-faced to really capture the essence of Dexter Morgan) models the sharpest suits for that killer style.
On September 24 – three days before Dexter's fourth season premiere – Lord & Taylor will hold a special event at their New York 5th Avenue store. They will have a special Dexter window display that will be unveiled that day, and you can get your "Dexter Experience" photo taken (I have no idea what that means – maybe a faux murder with their model Dexter). Gift bags will be given to the first 250 guests, and shoppers who spend $200 on men's clothing will receive the complete DVD box set of Dexter season three (no rush on this one – the gift with purchase lasts through October 11th).
A bunch of other Dexter events are taking place in LA and New York, including premiere screenings, special cocktails, a blood slide mosaic, and a video game demo. Check out Showtime's site for the full details.
