Komor Goes Even Darker for New EP

One of the premier purveyors of aggressive electro-industrial, Sebastian Komor has gone dark before – as co-founder of influential band Icon of Coil and solo Project Komor Kommando, and the horror-driven industrial sensation Zombie Girl. But now, according to label Alfa-Matrix, Komor has gone even darker for his newest Kommando release, which they claim to be “the heaviest project he’s ever done.” Read on to find out what’s lurking in the dark recesses of Komor’s kranium… and hear the results!

Alfa-Matrix announced this week that Komor Kommando’s new EP – simply titled Das EP – is “a hard-hitting guerilla project” filled with tons of pent-up aggression, driven by “Pounding rhythms to assault your senses with a bit of a cheeky humor and socio-political bite.” According to the label, with this release Komor “has set the sights of attack on the world of hard upbeat electronic power industrial with one sole target: domination and provocation.”

The packed EP, which is available starting tomorrow, touts savage but club-friendly singles Love Your Neighbour, Das Oontz and Triggerfinger, and is rounded out by tracks State of Destruction, Beat Around the Bushes, The Beat That Goes Ping, and The AntiKrist.
