Former Fringe-ateers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are returning to the small screen with what is sure to be a fun genre project: Sleepy Hollow.
Based on an idea from Phillip Iscove, the three men will write the script, with Len Wiseman from the Underworld franchise set to direct. Sleepy Hollow is being described as a modern-day supernatural thriller, where Ichabod Crane teams up with Sleepy Hollow's female sheriff to "solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battles of good and evil."
While not yet set up at a network, Kurtzman and Orci will take it around to NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox, where it is bound to be snapped up quickly by an industry which seems to be hungry for genre television these days.
I'm not complaining.
