Life-Sized Dinosaur Invades France!

French artist Philippe Pasqua has constructed a life-sized chrome tyrannosaurus rex on the bank of the Seine river. Modeled after fossil remains found in China, this T-rex is 12 feet high, 21 feet long, and is made up of 350 chrome molded bones. The sculpture was commissioned by Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches, a company that offers open-air boat tours of the Seine, and is meant to both promote contemporary art and promote tourism.

And maybe... just maybe... it will get a cameo in the next Pacific Rim movie.
