Director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In) has announced his next project: 8 O'Clock in the Morning, set up at Universal Pictures. Based on a short story by Ray Nelson, the film follows a man who suddenly realizes one day that aliens live among us and control our world. More after the break.
John Carpenter's 1988 classic They Live was based on the same short story, but this is not considered a remake. The biggest difference? Reeves's hero won't need glasses to see the creatures among us. Reeves, who will also write the screenplay, promises the film will be "very point-of-view driven, a psychological science fiction thriller that explores this guy's nightmare."
