Introduced in the late '80s and popular throughout the '90s, this eerie day-glo drink was a product tie-in to the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, but lost the franchise connection in 2001 (a full ten years after the series ended), continuing under the names “Shoutin’ Orange Tanger-Green” and "Crazy Citrus Cooler." A Chicago Ghostbusters fan claimed to have come up with the secret formula (or “cracked the Ecto-Cooler code,” according to SKC contributor Rodal) a couple of years ago, and he shared the recipe with fellow ecto-fans.
