Nachtmahr Mix Sex, Death & Torture in New Video [NSFW]

It's been a while since we last checked in on Austrian electro-industrial band Nachtmahr, who are notorious for mixing kinky sex and militaristic imagery in their promotional art, videos and performances. But the band has really outdone themselves this time with their first official video "Can You Feel the Beat?" The clip is is not only their most ambitious project to date, but it's sure to be their most controversial as well. Spicing up their usual police-state scenario with a touch of torture porn, murder and a shocking plot twist, this clip is definitely unsafe for work viewing, and might ruffle a few feathers for blurring the lines of sex and violence. Check it out below the jump!

"Even on the dancefloor, there is room to think about all our daily nightmares," says the band's founder Thomas Rainer (also a key member of popular gothic band L'âme Imortelle), who first brought Nachtmahr to the attention of horror audiences in 2007 with the cut "I Believe (in Blood)," featured on the Saw IV soundtrack.

Rainer joined forces with Italian director Carlo Roberti to film this little secret-agent psychodrama for the band's latest aggressive club track, the title cut from their upcoming EP Can You Feel the Beat? The EP contains several remixes of the single by industrial/EBM heavyweights like Grendel and Suicide Commando, plus the winning entries from a fan remix contest and three never-before-released tracks.

The following video is kind of disturbing, but might be a little bit exciting as well... depending on your taste, of course. Remember it's not exactly work-safe, so proceed with caution!
