NBC's Dracula series has rounded out its cast, with actors added to play Abraham Van Helsing and Jonathan Harker.
Thomas Kretschmann (who played Dracula in Dario Argento's recent 3D retelling of the popular vampire tale) will play Abraham Van Helsing. In this version, Van Helsing is a professor whose "obsession with revenge and power may make him a more dangerous threat to the public than Dracula himself."
Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Raven) will play Jonathan Harker, a journalist determined to climb the social ranks.
NBC's Dracula sees the infamous vampire in Victorian England, posing as an American businessman who is seekeng revenge on those who ruined his life, but gets distracted when he believes he has found his dead wife reincarnated in Mina Murray.
Already cast in the series is Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Dracula; Jessica DeGouw as Mina; Katie McGrath as Lucy; and Nonso Anozie as Renfield. Dracula is tentatively scheduled to air this fall.
