Bioshock Infinite, Irrational Games’ return to the franchise they launched with the waterlogged Bioshock, has just released a unique—and amazingly nerdy—trailer for the game focusing on the mysterious skybound city of Columbia.

Fans of the classic series In Search Of… should immediately get the chills from the trailer, as it pays homage in more ways than one, from the disco-era title cards to the Leonard Nimoy-aping narrator.  We learn a few key beats of the city you will be exploring in Bioshock Infinite, but are still left wanting more.  It’s brilliant stuff for nostalgic old nerds and shows, once again, Irrational’s obsessive attention to detail in building their worlds.

Bioshock Infinite will be released March 26^th.
