Is it possible to go a day without any news of another unnecessary remake? Silly question, right??especially when it comes to J-Horror remakes! Today, according to Variety.com, a whole slew of cast members have been added to the English-language remake of the Japanese chiller Don?t Look Up. The film is a remake of the 1996 Japanese title Joy?-rei co-written and directed by Hideo Nakata about an abandoned movie studio and the unraveling sanity of a director and his crew who find spirits from another era invading the film stock of their latest production. But the cast for the English-language remake now includes Henry Thomas (Desperation, Masters of Horror: Chocolate), Kevin Corrigan (The Departed), Lothaire Bluteau, Carmen Chaplin and Reshad Strik (Hills Have Eyes II 2007).
