New York Comic Con 2009: Radiohead's Yorke In 'Terminator' Talks?

All those dance mixes made from Christian Bale’s F-bomb-fest aren’t the only source of musical buzz surrounding the production of Terminator: Salvation… director McG announced at New York Comic-Con that he’s in talks with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke about the possibility of contributing a song to the films' soundtrack.

The director had originally considered offering all scoring duties to Yorke and Oscar-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla (Babel), but as we reported a while back, those duties eventually went to Danny Elfman. Still, McG maintained hope that he could still incorporate Yorke and Santaolalla into the mix. Yorke and Radiohead will be kicking off a North and South American tour next month, so it’s not certain whether he’ll be able to get onboard in time… but we’ll see.
