Pop-rockers Paramore – whose already rising popularity got a massive boost last year after the inclusion of their songs "Decode" and "I Caught Myself" on the Twilight soundtrack – have been hard at work on their third studio album, the follow-up to 2007 smash Riot! Vocalist Hayley Williams has covered their progress on the band's blog, and recently divulged some choice details about it. Hit the link and find out what's going down!
According to Williams, the band has been sequestered in a secret location (reportedly somewhere in Hidden Hills, California) while recording the album, which she describes as "a modest but reasonably comfortable place… I tried to make it cozy. A candle here, a poster there."
About the new tracks, Williams is more than a little bit enthusiastic: "I'm stoked! I can't wait for people to hear what we've done," she writes. "We made a record that is exactly what we set out to make. There's fast, there's slow, and in-between... happy, angry, desperate and over it. And I can't believe it's real."
The album, which for now remains untitled, is tentatively scheduled for release this September… and rest assured, you'll be hearing more about it soon!
