Last fall I promised you more news from the world of Rammstein, as the iconic industrial-metal giants were working diligently on their seventh album... well, I may be weird and offensive, but I'm a man of my word, so here's the latest official update on the German metalmeisters' studio progress:

“After finishing the first part of their studio recordings successfully, Rammstein have started to put the final touches to their new songs,” the group reports on their official site. To flesh out their trademark massive sound, they are returning to the tried-and-true use of full symphony orchestra and operatic backing vocals, and began working on those elements last week with orchestral arranger Sven Helbig.

“The final lyrical changes are being made, too,” the band reports. “We’re highly awaiting the next steps of the album production: the mixing of the songs. It is supposed to start mid-March and will take about six up to eight weeks.”

More to come... yes, very soon...
