See the Video for MCR's New 'Watchmen' Track!

The Zack Snyder-directed music video for "Desolation Row" – a Bob Dylan cover performed by My Chemical Romance for the upcoming Watchmen soundtrack – makes its North American debut today, and you can see it right here after the jump.

The video, which features cinematography by Oscar-winning DP Guillermo Navarro (Pan's Labyrinth), depicts the band performing Ramones-style in a seedy dive in the film's alternate 1985 world, working up the crowd until the moshpit mayhem explodes out of control and spills out onto the city streets while the riot police round up the band and haul them away.

The soundtrack to Watchmen is scheduled for release on March 3rd, just three days before the film hits theaters (we hope), and features a wide assortment of musical genres, from old-school names like Nat King Cole, Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin to modern artists like Smashing Pumpkins and (obviously) Gerard and the MCR gang.
