Slayer, Megadeth & Testament Bring the "Carnage!"

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s definitely gonna be worth it... heavy metal icons Slayer, Megadeth and Testament are finally joining forces for what promises to be a skull-splintering experience as the "American Carnage" tour gears up for early 2010. We’ve got all the nasty details below the fold... you owe it to yourself to check this out!

Billed as "the most blistering, the most explosive, and the most eagerly-anticipated mega-tour of the winter," American Carnage will be kicking off on January 18th in Seattle and continue for 26 shows in the US and Canada. It’s the first time Slayer and Megadeth have toured the US together since the "Clash of the Titans" tour in 1991, and it’s been almost two decades since all three of these bands have shared a stage.

All three bands have been busy little boys this year – with Slayer's World Painted Blood topping the charts, Megadeth’s acclaimed Engame garnering high marks and Testament’s new "Tour Edition" of 2008’s award-winning The Formation of Damnation coming out next February – and they’ll be firing up all the newest material on this tour.

To sweeten the deal even more, Megadeth will also be offering an "Ultimate Fan" package which includes premium seats, meet-and-greet sessions with the band and other goodies. As if that weren’t incentive enough: in consideration of tough economic times, the promoters have rolled back prices on a limited run of early-bird tickets to a "recession-proof" ten bucks, so you’ve really got no excuse not to jump on this one as soon as possible.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, but the super-cheap ones are being offered in a presale beginning at 10 AM on Thursday... and I’m betting they’ll be gobbled up in a hurry, so get yer turkey-munching asses in gear! Check out the promo below and find out how to get yours...
