A&E's Bag of Bones will air by the end of the year, and a teaser trailer for the miniseries, based on Stephen King's novel, will air this weekend during the season premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC. Can't wait? Deadline snagged the preview a few days early. Bag of Bones is set up as a four-hour miniseries, to air over two nights, and stars Pierce Brosnan, Melissa George, Jason Priestley, and Annabeth Gish. Mick Garris directs a script by Matt Verne (Masters of Horror, White Noise 2).
From Deadline.com: "Bag of Bones centers on bestselling novelist Mike Noonan (Brosnan), who is unable to stop grieving after the sudden death of his wife Jo (Gish). A dream inspires him to return to the couple's lakeside retreat in western Maine where he becomes involved in a custody battle between the daughter of an attractive young widow and the child's enormously wealthy grandfather, the mysterious ghostly visitations, the ever-escalating nightmares and the realization that his late wife still has something to tell him."
