This Sunday: Bite into the Big Apple with the NYC Zombie Crawl

Forget hot dogs, hamburgers, and corn on the cob. This Memorial Day Weekend, feast on BRAAAAAAAAIIIINS. On Sunday, May 27th, the undead will shamble on down to Williamsburg, Brooklyn for the 6th annual springtime NYC Zombie Crawl. But there's more to this crawl's festivities than the standard blood and booze. Participants will be treated to live music, zombie burlesque, and an advance look at Resident Evil 6. The festivities begin at Trash Bar in Williamsburg where zombies can gather to enjoy drink specials between 3:30 and 6PM. If you don't want to zombify yourself at home, makeup artists can transform you into the undead for a small fee. At nearby bar The Grand Victory, Misfits cover band Skeletal Life will perform at 5PM. The crawl begins at 6PM with a shuffle down Bedford Ave. At 7PM, there's a free show at venue Spike Hill by Nassau Chainsaw DisGraCeLand Demolition Committee, and 8:30PM means the start of the NY Zombie Afterparty at Public Assembly, which includes live music, horror burlesque by Rigor Mortis Revue, Resident Evil 6 video game previews, and a late-night Hot Zombie contest.
