With new CGI-animated epics assaulting us almost every week at the multiplexes, it's easy to get nostalgic for good old-fashioned hand-drawn animation. But if you're experience with the medium consists primarily of Disney features, Looney Tunes shorts, and Saturday animated cartoons, you're about to get zapped by the shock of the new. After the jump, watch the NSFW Mouse Frosted Chocolate, a surrealistic pencil-sketch animated short that looks like something Salvador Dali and David Cronenberg might have cooked up had the two gone on an absinthe binge together.
Mouse Frosted Chocolate (a.k.a. Topo Glassato al Cioccolato) comes from filmmaker Donato Sansone (aka Milkyeyes), who frequently makes such short test films, usually live action and almost always bizarre. For more, check out his MySpace page.
