There’s Vampire Hunting and Questionable Headwear in 'The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing'

It looks like Neocon's upcoming action RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is taking a cue or two from Universal's maligned Hugh Jackman movie from the early 2000's, which certainly doesn't bode well for Dracula purists.  Check out the trailer from Joystiq after the break.

Those hoping for a distinguished Abraham Van Helsing, as portrayed by the likes of Sir Anthony Hopkins and Peter Cushing, are going to have to look elsewhere it seems.  Incredible Adventures stars Van Helsing's son, complete with scarecrow hat and spurs, as he hunts the living dead around the Eastern European kingdom of Borgovia.  While I don't really have the highest hopes for the game, Neocon's King Arthur titles are incredibly well done, and the Japanese-flavored visuals could make this a more lighthearted romp.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is due out by the end of 2012 on Xbox Live Arcade and PC.
