Yeah, I just made a Joy Division reference.  Yeah, it's a stretch, but I'm pretty damn excited at the announcement that Yakuza: Dead Souls will be coming to North America.  Don't know what Yakuza: Dead Souls is?  Well, pull up a chair and I'll tell you all about it (with a little help from G4) after the break.

Yakuza: Dead Souls is the retitling of Yakuza: Of the End, another entry in SEGA's wildly popular Yakuza games which romanticize the lives of Japanese gangsters much like Grand Theft Auto does with American criminals.  However, Yakuza: Dead Souls is going to take the series away from its traditional roots and mix it in with a full-fledged zombie apocalypse that's decimating Tokyo.  It looks more than a little ridiculous (did that man's arm just change into a minigun?) which is certainly fine by me. 

Yakuza: Dead Souls will be released March 2011 for Playstation 3.
