Ultimate HD Edition of ‘Resident Evil 4’ Coming to PC

For the last person in the universe that hasn’t played Resident Evil 4...first off, congratulations on coming out of your coma!  You now get to try out RE4 in an “Ultimate HD Edition” announced by Capcom, coming to PC soon via Steam.

Boasting the snazzier graphics of the HD console editions from a few years ago, as well as a buttery-smooth 60 FPS, the game will also bring Steam-exclusive features such as Steam Achievements, Steam Trading Cards (I still don’t get those), global leaderboards, and full controller support.  This edition will also include all of the content of every previous edition, including the “Separate Ways” epilogue, in which Leon Kennedy promises to Albert Wesker that, “if he ever hurts you, true love won’t desert you.”  Well, that doesn’t actually happen, but I’m pretty sure there are some Tumblr fangirls who’ve drawn something to that effect.

If you preorder the game now on Steam, you also get early access to a digital soundtrack and artbook.  Neat!

Resident Evil 4 will be available on February 28th via Steam for $19.99.
