ABC's V pilot has cast its first Visitor. The good old Hollywood Reporter says that Morris Chestnut will star as the boyfriend of the female lead – a Homeland Security agent who is heading up the alien taskforce. The female lead has not been cast yet. The agent does not know her boyfriend is a Visitor, one of the alien race intent on enslaving humanity. Sounds like a case for Dr. Phil.
The pilot, produced by Warner Bros., is based on the 1980s TV miniseries and series. Chestnut's credits include Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid and The Cave. Interesting fact: one of Chestnut's first acting roles was in an episode of the short-lived syndicated TV series Freddy's Nightmares.
